When former Blackpool left back Gareth Evans was forced to retire through injury in 2006 at the age of just 24 BSA set up a committee to organise a series of testimonial events to raise money for him to start his new life away from football.

Through the hard work of the committee and the generosity of Blackpool Fans, Gareth was presented with a cheque for nearly £4000.
