Hall of Fame
In 2005 BSA commenced the Hall of Fame project. It was a project that gave Blackpool fans the chance to vote for their heroes from six eras of the club's history – pre-50s, 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s.
The results of the fans' votes then created a gallery of legends in the North West concourse at Bloomfield Road featuring Seasiders greats such as Jimmy Hampson, Sir Stanley Matthews, Jimmy Armfield, Tony Green, Mickey Walsh and Dave Bamber. Several years on every match day still sees crowds of people congregating in the Hall of Fame reading up on heroes from days gone by.
Since the Hall's unveiling new heroes have pulled on the Tangerine jersey and the vote for the 2000s section, encompassing three promotions and two LDV Trophy triumphs, promises to be the toughest yet!
