The appointment of Ian Holloway as Blackpool manager in May 2009 saw one of football’s most colourful characters take his place in the Bloomfield Road hotseat.

 

Blackpool Supporters Association felt that it was only right for its members to meet the man for themselves, as well as hearing about his plans for the club and hopes for the season. Of course he managed to exceed all expectations by taking the Seasiders up to the Premier League in his first season in charge, ensuring that his name will forever be linked with the club.

 

In what we hope to be the first of many similar events around 350 fans packed into the lounge and were entertained by Ollie in his own inimitable way. The night was a roaring success, including Ollie receiving his 'Ollie 8's PNE' shirt! We hope to see many more of you at Meet the Manager nights in the future.
