What We Do
BSA is the official supporters association of Blackpool Football Club. With a membership base incorporating those who have been following the team for decades right through to the younger generation of Tangerines, BSA aim to provide a link between fans and the club.
The association's committee meet on a monthly basis to discuss matters concerning BSA as an entity, ways in which we can support or challenge Blackpool FC on any proposals, and issues concerning our members. Supporters can engage directly in this process by using Twitter to send in live questions during committee meetings, to which they can expect a direct reply within minutes, and members have the option of attending the AGM, held around December time each year, to air comments or to put forward a proposal to join the committee.
BSA aims to act as a voice for Blackpool supporters, ensuring that their views are heard by the club. It also aims to promote Blackpool FC within the community and to increase levels of support.
BSA has also been involved in numerous projects over the years, some of which can be read about on this website. Arguably our finest achievement is the planning, fundraising and ultimately unveiling of the statue of Jimmy Armfield which stands proudly at the southwest corner of the ground.
Finally, BSA provides affordable transportation to all away fixtures for its members. Trips are planned well in advance and are coordinated and stewarded by long-standing members of the committee. Our aim for travel is always to provide smooth, hassle-free journeys to and from away grounds.
